The Longtail Sport Hybrid 725 is a tough, versatile urban load-lugger built with future needs in mind. The 725Wh battery and powerful fourth-generation Bosch Cargo Line motor working in conjunction with ebike-specific Shimano 10-speed gears mean it’s got the grunt you need to get a total load of up to 200kg across town – and beyond – with ease and in complete comfort. Cube designed it to fit most riders quickly and easily, with a telescopic seatpost and Speedlifter stem. There’s a sturdy twin-leg kickstand, for easy parking. Front and rear lights so you can see and be seen, 24/7. Magura hydraulic disc brakes for safe stopping, rain or shine. And optional accessories include a rear rack extender, child seat with foot rests and safety guard, and a front carrier that will accept a matching bag or basket, both with HIC, so you can tailor your Longtail to suit your needs exactly.
One Size Concept:
The flexible ONE SIZE CONCEPT makes one bike so versatile that it can be used by any number of people – irrespective of their height. Everyone can enjoy a comfortable ride courtesy of the upright riding position and step-through frame. The saddle and stem easily adjust up or down to suit any rider from around 5ft 2in to 6ft 2in (1.60m to 1.90m). The ONE SIZE CONCEPT is a universal platform that’s ideal to share between the whole family, partners, friends, neighbours and colleagues alike. Strong and Suspended Rear Carrier The Longtail Hybrid's rear carrier is an engineering masterpiece. Built to carry a load up to 60kg and suspended to keep your cargo safe, it's exceptionally strong and incredibly versatile. You can even add two child seats, with foot rests – or just slot in a standard-sized, 60cm x 40cm Eurobox.
Optional Downtube Carrier The Longtail Hybrid's optional Downtube Carrier adds extra versatlity and carrying capacity to this urban load-lugger. Making use of the entire length of the downtube, you've the option of strapping extra bottle cages, a lock, spare clothing and so on to make use of this space in the centre of the bike.
Gravity Casting Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For example, with their Hybrid models, Cube produced a motor mount that's optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.
Front Carrier Ready Cube's new HIC (Headset Integrated Carrier) fits simply, neatly and very securely on the front of your CUBE bike to add accessible, stable and versatile load-carrying capacity. With the ability to safely accommodate a Eurobox of 300mm x 400mm, up to 20kg in weight and RILink accessories.
