The CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 Pro has two gramme-shaving tricks up its sleeve. For starters, there’s the C:62® carbon frame and fork, complete with rugged IC 3.0 rear carrier. It’s as tough and versatile as it is light and lively to ride. Second, Bosch’s lightweight SX motor and 400Wh battery provides up to 60Nm of pedal assistance without needlessly weighing you down. Shimano’s reliable 1×11 Cues gears deliver power via 50mm Schwalbe G-One Overland tyres, and there’s a powerful set of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes to ensure you can slow and stop safely, whatever the weather. It’s all you need for adventures, near or far.
A lighter touring bike means you can take more with you, but low weight is no good without strength. That’s why, for the CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid C:62, Cube used their tried-and-tested C:62® carbon to build a frame structure that combines the load-bearing capacity you need with the comfort and ride handling that you’d expect from CUBE. With a UDH derailleur hanger, Advanced Internal Cable Routing and Boost front and rear axles, it’s both elegant and easy to live with. The rigid carbon fork is light and responsive, while the IC 3.0 rear carrier is adaptable and offers a sturdy platform for carrying whatever you need to take with you. Add the 400Wh battery, and it’s the complete package for lightweight hybrid touring.

C:62 Carbon Fibre Technology Not all carbon is created equal. With Cube's C:62® carbon they increased the high modulus fibre content, then reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.
Carbon Fork How important is material choice? When it comes to the fork that holds your front wheel, more important than you might think. Not only is this Carbon Fork exceptionally light and strong, it's also surprisingly comfortable to ride. Advanced Internal Cable Routing Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? Cube came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
X-Connect X-Connect is the simple way to attach a compatible ACID light to your CUBE bike. With a connector built into the headset and the wiring hidden in the frame, all that's left to do is attach the light, plug it in... and off you go. See and be seen, the easy way.
Fixed Integrated Battery Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, the new battery has been fully integrated into the down tube. This means it is optimally positioned for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 250Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range.
Integrated Carrier 3.0 The Integrated Carrier 3.0 is the next level in system integration: from the side, it's hard to tell where the luggage carrier ends and the mudguard begins. But it doesn't just look good, it's also incredibly strong and rigid. With an integrated spring clamp and CUBE Rilink ready adaptor for mounting bags and baskets, it transforms your CUBE into an adaptable and versatile load carrier.
