The Supercharger2 will take you there – no matter how far the destination. Whether a daily commute with only occasional battery charging, extended trips or spontaneous extra outings: the Supercharger delivers maximum freedom.
The GT Vario utilises the Enviolo CVT transmission. That’s a hub gear system that’s infinitely variable in its range, it’s very easy to use and also has a belt drive – no messy chains to worry about!
This HS (High Speed) version of the Supercharger keeps powering your ride up to 45km/h. That’s 28mph. As it’s not classed as an ebike it has to be registered with the DVLA, and they are classed as mopeds. So, you need a driving licence, you have to display a number plate, have insurance, tax it (though that’s free) and wear a motorcycle helmet. Daft? I can’t possibly comment. Oh, and you will have to get it through an MOT test eventually. Good luck at your local garage with that.
Having said all that, these bikes are designed to be able to cope with the increased speed and they are popular in the rest of Europe. Perhaps the law here will change to include these as a specific class of vehicle. They are great fun to ride!
